Baby Bash and Bling Expo and Show

Never in my life have I heard of ‘Pregnant Women’ rocking the runway at a fashion show! Though, when I was pregnant with my two I have to admit I thought about it. I even squeezed my swollen feet into my sandals and walked my pretend runway (which is my hallway) at home! Can you image me pregnant, fat as a cow,flaunting my stuff as if I am a super model walking the runway? Too funny, I KNOW! But, seriously I did. I always have and, STILL DO! Come on, admit it, you do the same exact thing, pregnant or not! What girl or woman does not pretend to be a super model flaunting her hotness down the runway?

Saturday, May 19 I had the opportunity of working the amazing event Baby Bash and Bling Expo and Show hosted by Angie Goff. Featuring “Bump the Runway” and special book signing by Fashionista and Celebrity Mommy,Tia Mowry! The beautiful woman behind the event, Monica Byrd created this interactive lifestyle event celebrating expecting moms, new moms and MOMS THAT ROCK! Being a part of this event all I could think, “Where was this when I was pregnant?” It was an AMAZING event! The “Swag Bags” were filled with amazing goodies;a room for your children to be cared for during the event, “Bump the Runway”was rocked by beautiful pregnant mommies and let’s not forget, Tia Mowry! I am truly grateful for the Executive Producer, Maggy Francois allowing me to work Baby Bash and Bling with her!

Being the Executive Producers 2^nd Assistant, I was extremely excited, grateful and determined. I wanted to do everything, help as much as I can, any way I can, stay on the go and make Maggy proud. It was my opportunity to reveal myself. Share my passion, determination and heart.

So, how was it meeting the gorgeous Tia Mowry? I am not bragging but, it was incredible! You never know what to expect when you meet a celebrity. She is extremely gorgeous, kind, welcoming and NORMAL! I must have hugged her a dozen times. Each encounter, I hugged her! I definitely did not want to be a raging fan though; I must admit I was screaming with joy and excitement with in me. I could not express myself any other way. As much as I wanted to sit down, get to know her, share my story, I wanted to stay professional; I was working. So every chance I got, I spent it with her adorable handsome son Cree instead. You can never smother a baby too much! I hope to have the opportunity of seeing and, or working with her again soon. She made the event extra perfect, the cherry on top!
